It is our pleasure to announce that US Army retired Col. Sheri Swokowski, will provide the keynote address at the 9th Annual Business Equality Luncheon.  Col. Swokowski is the highest ranking, out, transgender veteran in the country with 34 years of total service. This year’s luncheon will be Friday, Sept. 22, 2017 11:30-1:30 at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.

For the past 35 years, the Foundation has been a leader in advancing the cause of equality for LGBTQ+ communities across southeastern Wisconsin. Starting with only $500 in seed money, the Foundation has granted more than $1.5 million to life-affirming, life-sustaining and life-celebrating programs.

This weekend – Our friends at Diverse & Resilient and Fair Wisconsin are holding their annual Wisconsin LGBTQ Summit (formerly known as the Wisconsin LGBTQ Leadership Conference) in just a few weeks on February 25 and the Kimpton Journeyman Hotel in Milwaukee.

The 2017 Summit will be focused on building a more skilled and connected network of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ), and allied individuals who are empowered to achieve and protect LGBTQ equality in their local communities across the state of Wisconsin.

Join established and emerging leaders, activists, advocates, community members, and allies from throughout Wisconsin for a day of learning and networking.
